Mr Whaite goes Neon at the Movies

I have a bit of a healthy obsession with Neon at the moment. Most of my favourite snaps in my Flickr photostream are of the fluorescent sort – I love bright colours that pop and and make you to take notice.

The same can be said for Manchester designer Mr Whaite and his neon movie posters. Most of the work on his blog depicts his love for the movies, but it’s the animated gif posters that really stand out. Most are different takes on the classics, but with some new favourites in there too. You can really imagine the bright multicolored lights on a big billboard outside a 1950’s drive-in movie theatre.
